Gabriel A. Roth

Gabriel Roth is co-owner of Daptone Records, an independent record label he operates out of Brooklyn, New York. He is the principle writer, arranger, engineer and producer of music for the label, and he is also bandleader and bassist for Sharon Jones and the Dap-Kings, one of Daptone’s leading acts. He is well traveled as a musician, and has produced over twenty-five original albums. His achievements have proven the resourcefulness, creativity, leadership skills, and single-minded perseverance necessary to execute a long-term goal without compromise.
